Volunteer Program

Volunteers are an essential piece to Hetzel Care Center’s activity program.   Our volunteers leave Hetzel Care Center with a rewarding feeling and a sense of accomplishment.

Volunteer  Opportunities

Volunteers play a significant role in enriching our residents’ quality of life, each and every day.  Volunteers bring a sense of happiness, value, and feeling of family into the facility for the residents.  There are great opportunities for volunteers of all ages!  Some Examples include:

• One to one visits with residents
• Reading to residents
• Writing letters
• Decorating for holidays
• Playing instruments or singing
• Playing games/cards
• Helping with Bingo
• Baking
• Community outings
• And much more!

If you are interested in volunteering with us please contact the Activity Department 715-568-2503 for an application.  All volunteers will go through a selection process and general orientation.
